Same-day and next-day services are planned using best-endeavours and may be affected by traffic, weather, or unforeseen delays.

Access & Site Conditions
Customers must ensure that collection and delivery locations:

Have appropriate loading/unloading facilities

Comply with legal weight and height restrictions
Any delays caused by poor access, waiting times, or site restrictions may incur additional charges.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

Goods are correctly packaged, secured, and labelled

Accurate information is provided regarding weight, dimensions, and contents

Any special handling requirements are declared before booking

West One Transport Ltd reserves the right to refuse goods that are unsafe, illegal, or inadequately prepared.
Restricted & Prohibited Goods
Unless agreed in writing, we do not carry:

Dangerous or hazardous goods

Illegal or controlled substances

Temperature-controlled or perishable goods

Cash, jewellery, precious metals, or unusually high-value items
Undeclared restricted goods are transported entirely at the customer’s risk.
Liability, Loss & Damage

Carriage is subject to standard UK Road Haulage conditions, including RHA terms where applicable.

Liability for loss or damage is limited in accordance with UK transport law.

Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption. Customers are strongly advised to arrange their own goods-in-transit insurance where appropriate.
Delays & Force Majeure
West One Transport Ltd shall not be liable for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Mechanical breakdowns

Industrial action

Acts of God or government restrictions
Charges & Payment

All charges are agreed prior to transport unless otherwise stated.

Additional charges may apply for waiting time, failed deliveries, re-deliveries, or changes requested after booking.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified as early as possible.

Late cancellations may result in charges to recover costs already incurred.
